hehe, yesterday was super! i managed to sleep at 10.00 pm on a school night! whoots! first time okayy.. but i was still quite tired today. i could have slept earlier, but i used half an hour to write to my mortal. see, im such a guai angel. sigh..school lessons are getting boringer and boringer. i just can't seem to find interest in what tactic the slimming advert is using, or why the linear graph is useful. i think it's just the phase when everything is sian but i can't help it.

there was tramp c div trials yesterday. it was cool, i didn't take part, but claire miao n yishan did. i came up with "alphabet cheers" for each of them. i like N!! and teo allowed abi and i to watch instead of train. so i shuttled between the judges stand and the "waiting hold" for the c div trampers. it was fun, until teo told us to go do conditioning. his conditionin sucks totally. urghh..

JOCELYNE IS GOING TO JAPAN IN JUNE!!! IM JEALOUS!! wahhh...i want to go to Japan too! she's goin both disneyland AND disneysea. sob, life's not fair. TAKE ME WITH YOU JOCE!!!!!!!!

YIPPEEDOODLESOHCRAPPYWHATEVER

RUBBISHANDWHATCHAMACALLIT

PLUSLOTSAKHOOKIESANDWANTONS!!!

sorry for that bit of rubbish up there. i'm HYPER right now, cuz HADLEY won sports fest!!!

YAYERSTRALEELAWEAREFABANDWERAWK

EXCEPTFORCHEERWHICHWELOSEEVERY

YEARWHOOPEES!!

okayy, i am seriously hyper. anyway, sports fest was good but cheer wasn't well, marvellous. but it's okay. we put in effort and we had fun. at least we didn't have to go through the trauma of doing the same action 30 times every trainin in a row. =) lovee everyone in cheer so i guess it's time for more dedications!! <3 <3

let's start with the seniorest, shall we?

Jac: For being so funny and comical and having a sticky little finger!

Xian ying: for being comical too! u n jac 2gether can go for comedy already!

weiting: for being my wonderful clapp partner which we practised so much!

andrea: for being really really funny! like turnin off the radio while we were practising halfway!

wan xin: u noe wat? i think evryone in cheer is funny. ur comments are so blunt and well, funny. and thanks for tying my hair until you got achy knees! im soory! =)

Charmain: mm, is tat hw ur name is spelt? im SOORYYY! anw, thanks for being weird and funny (sigh, i have a super limited vocab) and responding to "short" instead of "charmain" hah

kunhang: for ur erm, "bimbo"y acts. and being lazy. dun drink too much coke/pepsi! u'll get diabetes!

claire: for teaching me loads and "enlisting" me as ur (lying) accomplice. i really had fun. =)

miao: for being like, crazy. there's no way u'll ever change, rite? =) n ur funky sweaty PEACH towel is still with me.

okayy, dedications are done.

anyway, i think waddle shld not have been 4th for cheer, they did really really well. i mean, not that im supportin them or anything, but they do deserve better. buckle dun need to say one lah. cuz JEAN is capt! they had no sec 2s, and finished their routine like, i dunno, last year! i likee the footwork. tarbet was titany and balletish. there was this one move i really liked. put ur hands up for richardson!! yay audrey n denise. =) it's the first time i've seen audrey being enthu! haha.

congrats to all houses and to linny! she's so sweet! she got milo for me and made me feel better with her comments! yay, are you reading this linny? =)ohwellz, i think hadley was great this year, our mascot and banner was funky and we won swim carn and sports fest! just hope can continue for the rest of the year. HADLEY, must jia you okay???

like, whoopee. i just reached home half an hour ago at 10.30 and im on the com already! yay. gym concert was funky, the rhythmic ppl were like super accurate and flex, just that i think they used most of last year's routines. anyway, we were helping to sell stuff like refreshments and i was trying to promote the program booklets. i was kinda shouting:"Program booklets! $1 each! Profits go to "Teach Me" a non-profit organization!" yeah, and i think it worked, cuz there were ppl buying. Most popular was the drinks and least were the apples. i don't noe why ppl don't like apples. they were so red and juicy and cold and nice. just that i had difficulty eating mine cuz of the braces and sensitive teeth. Audrey was laughing at me eating the apple and we were trying to get Ashley to eat something. She is super skinny, like she doesn't eat at all, which i think is true. She didn't touch any food at all during the whole evening. scary. Rachel and claire and i were trying to figure out the illusion thing which the rhythmic ppl do really nice but we just couldn't get it. we also learnt a tiny little part of the richardson cheer routine. the "put your hands up, uh-huh uh-huh" part! haha. was just basically being crazy the whole evenin. and hyper.

gym was okay. jess, sher, char and i took a cab to gym from toa payoh. On the taxi, charlene and i listened to "Crash" and tried to sing along certain parts of it. when we reached, we saw the hpps dancers doing their dance and it was woah. there was at least 40 ppl dancing and they all knew their places, which was scary. But the dance was really cute. did everything cept for beam at gym. oh wells, i tiiiirrreeeedddd so i am going to sleep. not very smart though, cuz my hair is still wet. =)

okayy, i realized i haven't blogged for more than a week. life has been busy, special thanks to lit n geog learning journey presentations. Thanks to the photo journal, i had to stay up to print the photos. but i found out that our com has this program which has disney and normal frames for ur pics when u print them so i experimented and they turned out pretty cool. =)

on tues, we were made to change to our new seating arrangement. sigh.. really, what's the point of seperating us? like, our grp is so bonded! FARQUHAR'S FISHBALLS! right here, i shall make a dedication to my dear group of term 1 in 205.

Sheila: For all your funny actions and speech. shall always rmb ur "god gold and glory" actions.

Diy: Ur sudden stares and grins and random comments. and of course, the nice long hair on ur arms.

Adeline: For just being dear and sweet and putting up with me. =)

Anna: Haix, ur snide comments and sarcarsm never fail to make my day.

Yi-Lin: Dearest khookie! for umm, umm, well, being just you! We're those khoo tings!!

Love ya forever, FFs!!

rite, those short little dedications are done. my new group is relatively well, except im in the same group as elyssa for the 4TH TIME already. What do teachers see in putting us together anyway? like, there's no change in both of us, if we were meant to influence each other. and after sittin next to huiqi for only 2 days, i conclude she is perverted. (no offence) examples are not needed and welcome here though.

gym was good. i managed to do the big swing over move on my own for the first time! if only lao shi could see it, i dun think she's ever coming back to singapore. and i just realized that when they told me the current coach was temporary, he's temporary for 1 year! i thought it was like, 2 weeks. so now my hopes of not having to change jap classes are kinda dashed. whee.

battlefield trip was okay, but the Kranji cemetery and memorial got me kind of emotional. it's like looking at all those almost white tombstones lined up in really straight rows and knowing that they died in the war makes you feel even worse about the war. not only the tombstones, the memorials as well, cuz there are more than 20,000 names up on those walls. what's worse is that you know this is only a small portion of the number of people who died in the war. many more were out there. it made me feel really sad, especially during the ceremony. these people all bravely sacrificed their lives for the battle, and some even die without their name on the tombstone. i wish they had given us more time to walk around so we could read the messages carved at the bottom of each tombstone.

went down to Geylang Serai on tues for lit, and it was freaky and funny. so we trooped off the mrt towards the malay village. it was like, super quiet there, rite in the middle of the afternoon, 1.30pm and deserted! so we entered and walked around, taking lots of random pictures. there was almost no one there, and the only thing we found working was a vending machine. there were a lot of stray cats there, and they are not scared of humans at all. there was once when we were standing in a circle looking at a cat, and it started walking towards us. we thought it would just walk through and pass us when it suddenly just plunged its butt down and sat in the middle of the circle!! and it just sat there, showing off its fat body. after that, we became kind of bored so we decided to take pictures of our hands and feet. they turned out pretty nice so we wanted to try it with the head. just as we were going to take a pic, this malay guy came up to us and asked like: "Are you all working?" then we were like "urhh...no" then he asked us a bunch of questions and gave us this loooong lecture about totally random stuff like how you should drink water instead of juice or coffee cuz it cleans ur system and prevents diabetes, how no matter whether u are a chinese, malay, indian or christian you should pray every morning, why he became a policeman except a graphic designer which he wanted to be from young and a lot a lot more stuff. we finally got the chance to escape when his walkie-talkie buzzed. we scramed and rushed out. phew.

later when linny anna n i were on the mrt, we sat in 3 different places, but could see each other. i was kind of tired, so i started dozing off. then, unfortunately, i have this bad habit of swaying my head while i sleep on the mrt or bus. so i was swaying and swaying and i landed on this guy's shoulder!! oh man, i was super embarrassed. my whole life has been maluating lah, come to think of it. since young, whenever i sleep on buses or mrts, unlucky and embarassing stuff will happen to me. there have been cases when i hit my head REALLY loudly on the window, (thanks to the infernal swaying) times when i land on someone's shoulder, (there was this one time which i landed on an old lady's shoulder and when i woke up and quickly tried to sit up and apologise, she just like grabbed on to the side of my neck and went "bu yong jin! bu yong jin! ni shui ba! which means it's ok, sleep, sleep! i was so super freaked!) and there are times when i almost fall off the seat. sigh...but today's experience beats everything. i was boarding 190 with Jia Wen, and after i got up, she told me she had dropped her phone UNDER the bus. i kneeled down to look and it was like wayy deep. so the bus driver handed us a broom and i swept it out. when we finally boarded the bus, everyone must have thought we were weirdos! so malued!!

stupid library books, ruined my day. you see, i woke up in the morn being all happy that i didn't need to attend sch today unlike my brothers. i continued being happy, finishing my tuition hw and having tuition. until...my tuition teacher brought out a book for me which sparked my memory. i went "give me a minute" and rushed into my room, digging for the two forgotten library books under a pile of bags and books. when i finally excavated them, i was both relieved and pissed. relieved cuz today was the due date and i hadn't missed it and pissed cuz i had to go to school just to return the 2 library books!!! anyway, i went and came back with two comics. at least the trip wasn't wasted.

yesterday, i watched the star idol finals. and YAY BRYAN WON!!! haha...dun like leo. his assasin acting was really fake. dun have tat "attitude" and Bryan's shuaier, i think. to think that the first time they showed who had the highest vote it was leo. ha. i didn't vote a lot cuz im not even sure how much each vote costs. all the judges except for 1, i think, like bryan better. but the dancing scene was really funny cuz the 2 of them danced really weird!! mwahaha oh wells, i realized that star idol was the same as s'pore idol, last 2 contestants both male. i guess s'pore males aren't enthu enough to make sure their female idols get enough votes...haix spent the day surfing the net so i shld probably go and do work now...such as filing...urghhh i hate filing. but i guess it has to be done. =)

yay..today was rest day! no cheer no gym, just me, my com and furuba bk 17! and a little cheese. anyway, woke up pretty late and then proceeded to watch jewel in the palace. it's really full of politics. the young palace maids learn how to b*tch at the tender age of 8. seriously...and they have to remember tons of stuff, i bet it's super stressful. after lunch, went to meet abi to get back my camera. on the way back on the mrt, i suddenly thought about going to gym on monday. i was thinking about doing handspring and hearing lao shi say "wan ting, yao tui shou!". then i remembered, lao shi's not going to be there... i got all forlorn and depressed... but eating ice cream later made me feel better...comfort food. =)

went bowling at night and it wasn't fabulous. my score deproved, but it was ok cuz i bought furuba bk 17 after that. Yay. then went for dinner at yoshinoya, which we spent 22 bucks for 3 ppl all bcuz i wanted this freebie, which i was told later it was OUT OF STOCK. bloody pissed. after dinner, which made me really really full, we went shopping. later, when my brother and i was counting how much we had spent, it was pretty shocking. 32 bucks on bowling, 22 bucks on dinner, 26 bucks on a dvd, 30 bucks on books and 15 bucks on micellaneous stuff like snacks. add that all up and we have... 125 bucks! 3 ppl! wow, and it would have been more if i had gone to OP and we had bought The American Tail.

oh wells, my brother's friends are sleeping over and are watching huo yuan jia now. i am blogging while sending abi her pictures. gmail is taking a reallllly looooong time to process....sighhh....

Today was a really happy yet really sad day. what an emotional rollercoaster.First i was happy cuz we had a mini party for lao shi. Then i was sad because she started crying. Then i was happy because i did my round-off backflip. but i became sad again when lao shi was hugging everyone b4 she left and was crying. it was really sad...so Here is a tribute to lao shi:

Thank you lao shi for your guidance in the past 1 year and 2 months. You were wonderful. You taught us the basics for strength and then the skills. You did not push us if we were injured but also did not let us slack. You laughed and joked with us, trying to learn english phrases. You helped me find back my round-off backflip which was lost for 8 months. THANK YOU for everything. Have a good trip back to China and i wish you all the best there. we will miss you...

Well, it's really sad she's leaving, but she can be with her family again! sigh...gym won't be the same without her although we complained in the past. anyway, today was also happy bcuz i can finally do round-off backflip on the ground again! after 8 months! yup, it's been a looooooong time. lao shi just asked me to do it, then suddenly all the seniors were like "just go wan ting! trust urself!" so i ran, i round-offed and flipped. and did it! it felt really good, like suddenly this huge burden and fear is lifted and flung to one side. must really thank everyone, cuz i think it was the phrase "trust ur arms and legs and urself which did it" rite after i heard that, i went. i think denise said that. it's like, i've realized trust is really important. with trust, you'll be confident and with confidence, you can do anything. so no matter what you do, u must trust urself, don't doubt. yup, important life lesson: TRUST.

i baked cookies yesterday and i think they turned out okay. was able to make around 50 choc chip cookies from the batter. they taste better when u just remove them from the oven. warm and crisp, mmm... anyway, my dad wants me to stop baking cuz it's making my brothers fat. but i can just give them away instead. =) kkays, i have to go work on sci pt. byes!

i'll miss lao shi....

helloooo...oh manz, i didn't blog for such a super long time... anyway, my life has been pretty busy with hw and exams and fussing over class stuff. just returned from gym camp today. it was great!!! In the first morning, we played ice-breakers with the rhythmic ppl. went okay, just that everyone was still kind of keepin to "their own kind". after ice-breakers, we ate nasi lemak for lunch. i sat opposite shinyi who was next to clara. and clara found out how to use the FORK and SPOON as a catapult and started flinging peanuts and rice at people. One ikan bilis even landed in Pau pau's hair! we then headed for sentosa after lunch. it was pretty slack there, played a little volleyball and failed miserably then we played Dog and bone. super fun, with everyone scrambling for the bottle and circling it. my team was winning at first, but lost to the others in the end. x( Noelle did a backflip in the sand which was super cool! i didn't even dare to try. we also did a bit of conditioning there and played captains' ball. just before everyone boarded the bus back, we ate Ben's and Jerry's! =) YUMMY, i tried choc fudge brownie, phish food, sweet cream and cookie and berry berry extraordinary! felt like such a greedy pig, at least the ice cream was shared. x)

had dinner after bathing then went to hall to do random stuff. some of them sang church songs, some played cards etc. i was gathering ppl to help me do my science investigation. later, we made cheers which sound retarded. x) a few of us snuck out and played dodgeball with sleeping bags. VICTORY DANCE!!! watched CSI before sleeping which was really freaky.

next morning, we played scavenger hunt. super tiring yet super fun. had to run down to shangri-la, take a photo and run back

plus other tasks such as translating a passage. also had to find bonus items like a $1 and a copy of tribune. PEPSI COLA CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! JINGLES RAWK!! haha, our grp was called jingles and we came in 2nd overall. after the hunt, we broke camp and went for training. there was a small gym dinner after training which we went to at SWENSENS. baoyi, emily, eunice goh and i ordered a regular earthquake which everyone came to look at because it had 8 scoops of ice-cream!

before!

After!

Ivy also came and told us about the "Ocheh cheer" at rjc. very very funny, i couldn't stop laughing. =)=) jess also wrote sth for ivy.

after all the ice-cream, all of us left. the end. yay...
